Default WS6's on Horsepower TV

On one of the older episodes, the hosts of the show ran two WS6's down the strip against each other. One of the WS6's had just the sides of the hood scoops painted. I thought it looked pretty cool and was hoping to find a picture of this car because I was considering doing something similar on my SS. Anyone else see this episode and possibly know where I could find pics of this?

Thanks.

Try sending them a e-mail and ask for the picture you want. Can't hurt to ask.

yeah, I saw that. they were Carl Black Blackbirds if I remember correctly. Funny thing is, they didn't show any times. I would think they would show the times to help advertise...unless they weren't that great.

I saw them drive those cars. It was at the Bristol Bash last Oct. The times weren't impressive (mid 13's? ). Of course neither of them could drive them. They were Blackbirds.

The 380 HP stripes on the Blackbird are decals.Carl Black had a red one on their lot when I got my car from them. Not very impressive IMO.They also have a special edition they build with some help from Year-One,that is basically an LS-1 powered firebird with a Ram-Air hood,a few bolt ons and some vinyl stuck here and there. Also their salesmen need to learn a little more about f-bodies......IMHO

Default BlackBird Power

The HP numbers on the stripes are @ the wheels, not flywheel. So it's not a high priced Ram Air, it's a low priced Vette in a Ram Air body. Personally seen them hit low 12's "stock". They easily out-perform or match the performance of a C5 and you can get them used for around $28K. The 380HP version does 0-60 in 4.4secs and around 12.5 1/4. Eat that 03 Cobras! They also offer a 435 HP version. OUCH!

Are you trying to tell me that a lid, pulley and catback puts down 380 at the wheels ? I think somebody fed you some horseshit. What exactly is it that makes you think the rating is at the wheels and that the car you saw was stock?

Let me know when it'll run a 10. I think you're misinformed in several ways based on your post.

BTW, what's up with bringing back a 2yo post?
