what are some useful tips when putting it away for 6 months?
Any do or Don't s??
should i put my stock wheels back on or leave my 10 spokes to prevent flat spots?
-Clean entire vehicle thoroughly to prevent any staining, etching, corrosion, etc.
-Inflate tires to max pressure
-Remove battery and place on trickle charger
-Add fuel stabilizer
If you cannot drive the vehicle for a long enough period to let all fluids reach normal operating temperatures, it's probably better not to start it at all.

I use many of the tips already listed;
- fill the tank with gas,
- add a fuel stabilizer,
- check tire pressure & inflate if necessary,
- clean & polish exterior painted surfaces,
- connect a trickle charger to the battery,
- put on the car cover.
I start the car every 2 to 4 weeks and let it run for 20 minutes. I'm not sure if this helps, but it's great just to sit there and listen to the engine sound and dream of Spring.
I usually change the oil in the spring.
