If its going to be stored inside I wouldn't cover it but that's just me. Mine sits in the garage all winter, I like to start it up and pull it out every so often just to keep things moving. I usually give it a thorough cleaning and change the oil first.

I would suggest gas stabilizer change the oil, and move it regularly. Mine is in storage already. I move it in and out at least once a week. If the weather isnt bad Ill take it around the corner. I would also suggest jacking it up and taking the wheels off, so you dont get flat places in them.

Yes, the other thread has some good tips.

-Clean entire vehicle thoroughly to prevent any staining, etching, corrosion, etc.
-Inflate tires to max pressure
-Remove battery and place on trickle charger
-Add fuel stabilizer

If you cannot drive the vehicle for a long enough period to let all fluids reach normal operating temperatures, it's probably better not to start it at all.

This will be the 11th winter storing my SS (Nov. to March), in our unheated garage.

I use many of the tips already listed;
- fill the tank with gas,
- add a fuel stabilizer,
- check tire pressure & inflate if necessary,
- clean & polish exterior painted surfaces,
- connect a trickle charger to the battery,
- put on the car cover.

I start the car every 2 to 4 weeks and let it run for 20 minutes. I'm not sure if this helps, but it's great just to sit there and listen to the engine sound and dream of Spring.

I usually change the oil in the spring.

Follow my write up, add some seafoam or stabill to your full tank of gas.

Just clean it very well, and get some damp rid. it pulls moisture and odors out of the air

I used to swap my stock tires back onto the car, but last year was the first year I didn't mess with it. Just raised the air pressure in the tires and didn't have any problems with flatspots. Pretty much everything in that storage thread is good stuff.

Every year I store my car, I always swap my stock rims back on.

I just put some M/T's on two of my stock rims so I'll just be leaving my normal rims on the car and upping the air pressure.
