Re: FM5's or FM10's?
My vote is for the 5 spokes classic style. You may want to check out the Lingenfelter site to see the modified version of that where the 5 spokes are "split". I can not remember the model number and they aren't exclusively Lingenfelter available. That's just the only place I've seen them. I like your other choice but they are a lot more work/attention to keep good looking with all the "spokes".

I like the 5's. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Try to find a pic of MTI's first LS1. It was a red Z28 with FM10s. It was bad ***...hooked me on them for about 2 years until i could get mine.

I too love the look of Fikse rims; however, I lack the pocketbook to own a pair. So after some looking, it appears that Boyd Coddington has adopted some styles that are VERY similar to the FM10 and FM5 wheels
Boyd Coddington "Tuned" wheel:
<img src="http://shop.sportruck.com/bcodd/tuned.jpg" alt=" - " />
Fikse FM10 wheel:
<img src="http://www.thunderracing.com/images/2.gif" alt=" - " />
Boyd Coddington "Timeless 2" wheel:

Fikse FM5 wheel:

You can defintely see the resemblence in the wheels. But the thing is that you can get those "Tuned" wheels for about $1200 shipped to your door, and the Timeless 2s for about $1450. Both of which are a far cry from over $3000 you'll pay for the Fikse. While I know typically you get what you pay for, I seriously doubt you get $1500 more bucks worth of wheel outta the Fikse. Don't get me wrong, if I had the money I'd still get the Fikse, but I don't so I'm gettin the Boyd wheels.

Re: FM5's or FM10's?
I would do FM10's on a Camaro and FM5's on a TA. The red MTI Camaro with FM10's is in the September 1998 issue of Hot Rod Magazine if you can get your hands on that, but I have also seen that car in most of MTI's old ads. Good luck on your decision.

Re: FM5's or FM10's?
I think certain wheels go with certain cars and certain colors on cars. Like I think the FM10's look good on silver (tullis has me convinced) and on dark colored cars like black or NBM but I think the FM5's will look good on either f-body no matter what color. Just my .02

Re: FM5's or FM10's?
I already posted the pic of my FM5's, but here is one of my best friends SS with FM10's on it. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> <img src="http://www.lvfbody.com/images/members/member_pics/DAVE_HORN/DAVE_HORN_0.jpg" alt=" - " />

The picture is a bit unfocused, but you cant go wrong with the FM10's
