Would this look stupid?
I recently tinted got my windows tinted with that titanium/chrome kind of film. I was going for a NBM Camaro w/ chrome accents (ie chrome windows, badges, rims, hood scoop stinger ala Dale Ernhardt SS) but it looks greenish. They said that because the windows are factory tinted, it comes out that way. Anyone else have this problem?
I was thinking of changing the chrome to just black rims, black tint windows, and the hood scoop stinger and just making the badges all chrome (RK Sports). Anyone have a look like this one?
Opinions would be greatly appreciated.

No its true, The factory wondows have like a real light tint.
The reason why i know this is because i put the darkest legal tint on my 98 camaro and failed the tint test for inspection by like 2% due to the factory tint that cannot be removed.

Oh, ok, so I'm not the only one with this probelm. Do you guys think I should switch my tint to the black so the scheme goes better? (black tint, rims, hood scoop) or should I try to stick with the chrome look knowing that's the tint is kinda green?

I had a similar problem. Go with the charcoal metallic. Great tint. Black but also pretty reflective. I have 20 all around.

Yeah switch over to the black tint. Otherwise your windows become the focal point of the car rather than the car itself mainly due to the fact that your car is a dark color. That chrome tint will stick out like a sore thumb. It might not be as noticable if your car were white for instance....

Sorry no pics. Haven't gotten around to getting a digital camera yet. You'll like the charcoal metallic. It's black but has a sheen to it that makes your windows look like they are polished. Not to mention it reflects heat, light, and sun better. I'd get rid of the platinum metallic you have. I thought it looked pretty horrid on my car (Black).

I forgot to mention. As to the far and close look that the platinum has where at some angles it looks reflective and others it just looks green. (You should know what I'm talking about) The charcoal metallic doesn't do that. The 20% is just black but shines real nice. Also use Z-6 Zaino on the outside and inside of your windows to help save the window motor. It really helps.

I've looked into different shops (Napa, Checkers, Ron's Performance, Wal-Mart, K-Mart, Costco) here in the islands and no one's ever heard of Zaino. I'm kinda stuck between 20% black tint all or Charcoal tint (anyone know what % is good?) to replace my chrome/titanium tint.
Which tint would go better with Black Z06 Motorsport wheels, (stock black from a Z28)rear panel, painted hood scoop (Intimidator/Mantra) style?

Zaino isn't available at any retail store, only through their website http://www.zainobros.com
I also agree that the chrome tint isn't too attractive - but to each their own.
Even my 89 IROC had factory tinted windows as well.
