Default Clear coat coming off wheels

I've got the factory polished aluminum ws6 wheels, and the clear coat is coming off pretty bad. I assume the only option is to have them stripped, repolished, and recleared? If this is the only option, does anyone do it and ~how much, and are there any other options?

You can strip them yourself and polish them up. I picked up a set that were stripping bad and the owner didnt know what to do about it so I took them off his hands cheap. Stripped the wheel down and polished it up and the wheel looks brand new.

So you don't actually have to clear coat it again?

You don't "have" to clear coat it again, you'll just wish you did. Maintaining bare polished aluminum wheels is no fun

They are polished with a liquid clear. Same thing as TBSS wheels.

So...anyone offer the service? Price estimate?I could probably strip and polish, but I doubt I would be able to clear it and it look right.

I do it in powder. I use a diamond acrylic clear powder meant for polished aluminum, doesn't dull it at all and alot more durable than paint/liquid clear.
