15% all around. No windshield tint

 

Heres mine 20% goes to the black Z28 all sides but front its illegal here to do the windsheild how can u guys drive with 50% on the front

5% rear 35% sides, nothing on the windshield:

50% is usually a reflective film, so it's a LOT easier to detect when driving around (if you're a cop). I've had 35% on the front of a car before with 5% over 35% on the other windows... it was ******* dark.






I drive by cops all the time where I live and I've never been hassled with 20% on the windshield (which is darker than a lot of people have on the sides even). I'm either lucky or cops in AZ just don't care. I've had it for about a year and once you're used to it, it's just as easy to see out the front as when there was no tint on it.


Wouldn't have it any other way and any other car I buy will have the same tint.

about how much would it cost to do 5 in the back and 15 on the sides?

I work at a tint shop in texas, and there is a company that makes a 10% it is in the "color stable" line from 3M. I personally have 20% on the sides and 5% on the rear and it works great, I am able to avoid cop trouble but still dark enough.



Planning on doing the entire front windshield once I get a new one that doesnt have a rock chip in it.

i'll take some pics of my car tomorrow, but i have a black 02 z28, 5% all around, 15% visor across the windshield, and i can see just fine out at night..

 

loool no am not a cop and man its jst boring getting it all dark!! i only tinted coz of sun its like hell in here...
