New series of pics
I was not hard at work in the studio this past week and discovered a process to turn my digitals into a faux-panchromatic film style of oldschool. This series was a test shoot as me, my WS6, and my Canon 10D depart for Big Bend Nat'l Park in 2 weeks...where i plan on coming home with some top notch work. Enjoy:

Do you happen to have a larger version of this photo? http://mctullis.com/public/Hangar/platnum_caf0.jpg I'm looking to get me a new background but I run my monitor at 1600x1200. I doubt you have that big but anything would work. Oh by the way the photos are awesome. You do a really good job with them.

Awesome photos once again John, your car's color makes it a great candidate for any type of sky or lighting. My red cars look like crap in darker lighting, they turn tomato colored.
Have you ever considered working for a magazine like GMHTP or something? You should submit your best photos and give it a shot.

As far as hi-res, these came off a 10D so the resolution is about eleventybillionxeleventybillion. I'll get some wallpaper size up soon.
Tony...i've talked to Johnny once and at the time actually requested that he do a shot of my car. Now i'm considering goin into the auto photo biz myself. I would however like a color 2-page spread in a GM magazine. That's all i'm askin. Power mods go in next month and a few more paint things and bling afterwards. Should be a good candidate and i'd love to shoot with the GMHTP photo crew.
PendragonZ - i developed a technique to simulate a red filter on black n white film with a digital color or black n white picture. All the blues turn to black and and reds and whites get lighter. Aside from the tint, that's what the image looks like in black n white. The reason i colored it that way is because of that Z06 poster that has an identical photo but with a silver Vette. I have it on my wall and it's my favorite picture in the world and i wanted to duplicate it with mine.
It's a tri-tone of black, brown, and orange. Show me what you got.
