i got 10k because they were the only thing a local vendor had in stock when one of my silverstars burned out. i would suggest going as close to 4k as possible, but suprisingly i havent been pulled over for them at all *yet

and yes i took this picture with the camera pointed directly into the bulbs

I have the 6000k on my car and love them. So much better than stock. I got them from Nathan at LEDgauges. Their FAQ shows pictures of the different light temperatures and how they light the road.

I've come across some really good prices on ebay and amazon. So shop around and see what you can find. Many local places may carry them too.
