as long as it has the ss spoiler, go for it.
and (if you have them) get rid of the 16inch wheels too.
also, if you're automatic, hang your head in shame if you're doing all this with a 2.73 rear.

Go for it man. I myself have a Z28 and I really want to get an SS hood and spoiler. The stock Z28 hood is just so boring... I want to make it stand out a little more and look more aggressive. Right now I just have a sleeper Z28, no one thinks my car is nearly as fast as it is haha.

Looks great but its common as all hell. Like some others have said I'd be more likely to go with a cowl. Really though....I dont get what would be so terrible about even doing SS badges as long as you got the spoiler too. With the exception of certain SLP cars that's basically the only real difference between the 2 in the first place. I mean yeah the SS has ram air but.....it really doesn't seem to do all that much.

SS hoods on Z28s are fine if you don't rebadge it as an SS. However be prepared to have someone ask "do you have an SS"?
My thing is, why try to make it look like another Camaro model with the SS hood? WHy not make the Z28 look like it should have in the first place with a sunoco cowl hood or better yet, the SLP Ultra Z hood which is the best flowing direct ram air hood out there for 98-02s.
My choice on a Z28 is the Ultra Z.
The Sunoco is nice but just like aftermarket SS and other hoods, do you know if they've been crash tested? I'd hate to find out the hard way by losing my head in an accident when large sections of fiberglass hood went through the windshield. Sounds far fetched but happens more than you'd think.
All of SLPs hoods at one time had to meet GM crash test standards and have crumple zones.
