Thats kick ***..Sometimes I wish I would have done that..but I painted mine..and if I paint it..I dont want to feel it..and to do it flat or semi gloss..you would end up feeling the tape lines..

^^ the only problem I had with this one is that the filler panel decals were meant to be put on the original, non-smoothed out filler panels, so it didn't have that masked paper to stick them on. I had to align them, each individual letter, each flimsy part of the firebird....it was time-consuming to say the least, but it ended up coming out fine, and to be fair I didn't specify this when talking to Fourth Circle Designs, if I did so he would've included the masked decal

Some pics are not showing right now, will check later. But looks good so far.
Yea, the rear filler I offer in masked if the original is removed and smoothed, and unmasked if the stock one is in place. The just aren't on the site right now (finalizing GM licensing).
Thanks the props Trust and everyone else. I aim to please

yeah man great work on the decals. I should've specified when I talked to you that the filler panel was smoothed out. I appreciate your great customer service and after talking to the other decal guys, your fast shipping, fair prices, and public relation skills is untouchable.

kind of off-topic to my thread, but I'm blacking out my tail lights and I forgot if you're supposed to wetsand the tails after your nightshade it, before the clear coat......cause like I sprayed it and there's very small specs of debris on it .. so should I wait till it fully cures, sand it and then clear coat it?

I really like the blacked out look. The red was beginning to become an eye sore to me. Here's a comparison shot for you guys, don't mind the camera.
and here's a closer shot... it should look sweet when I put on the pontiac inserts, the stripes, and black chrome the tips

^^ yeah I'm going to contact emblem pros and see if they can do something about it or if I have to buy a whole new badge. I don't think paint will adhere to the acrylic that great. I might buy one of those paint pens and try going over it w/ it ... but iuno how thats gonna hold up. you think anyone would wanna buy it off of me? what kind of badge you think I should get...a matte black badge?

^that would look good, or for a more factory look, just use: http://emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/1341
and choose black. and im sure they can change it to say performance pack instead of trans am
i've seen used ones on ebay for like $70 amd new for around 100. so i say just clean it up good and sell it,
and then buy a replacement.

just cleaned up the engine bay today. switched from a red stb to a black bmr w/ matte black trans am on it, painted battery top black, took off all the stickers, polished ac lines, canister and brake lines, painted hood struts back to black, and put back my windshield washer reservoir.
