Get to your local Advance Auto, they don't stock them but will order it for you. Costs about $35.00, made by coverking, takes about a week and a half to arrive since they make them on order. Velour looks 100% better than carpet.

those dash mats look like ****. buy a new upper dash pad for $200 and have it wrapped in leather at a local shop. or just tint your windows and t-tops to keep out the UV rays that destroyed the original one

i once bought a velor dash mat for my old z28 and to be honest it looked like complete ****, typical redneck way of fixing things. I say try fixing yours upper instrument panel with some fiberglass and wrap it with alcantara or suede or leather... just don't waste money on a piece of **** dash mat....if you decide not to fix it or if its too broken to fix just get a fabric and throw it on.

Good site, I think a lot of people want dashmats just for the fact that it would prevent cracking and i cant see jack when my dash is clean.

exactly, its to prevent the dashpad from fading/cracking and keeps it clean whats the point of covering up something that is already fouled up lol. i put a towl over the seat bottom of my white leather seats, that doesnt mean i have a tear in the seat

Dashmats are a horrible idea... They are so tacky.

Id rather leave a cracked dash pad, then put carpet to cover it.

I wish i could find words to express how much that makes me cringe...

Towels on the seats?!?!? what are you 90?

This isn't a park avenue... Its a sport car.

Id be embarrassed... you should to.

The same as bra's...

Okay, ive made my point. im done with this thread.

Bras damage paint, thats always a no go but a person that takes care of his car anally retentively is wise and not embarrising. Remember, "prior planning prevents **** poor performance"

I don't know what part cracked on you but a friend of mine recently purchased a nice dash mat on eBay that only covered the plastic part of the dash eliminating overhang on the front of he dash and allowing a good armor-all to still be seen. I don't know who sold it but you might check there too.

Yeah, what do you guys think about this one? All it covers is the cracked pad its self. I am going to replace my cracked pad eventually, but until then I would like to cover it up. Because it drives me ******* crazy knowing the crack is there. (Corner actually broke off in 12 pieces)

I'd just wrap it in leather or vinyl. The carpet dash mats just look out of place to me on newer cars

Not an option, cracked into little pieces not able to put back together and wrapped. This is a temporary fix, As I cant drop 200$ just for an interior piece right now. Probably wont be able to pick up a new piece until next spring 2011. (Headed out for Afghanistan in Aug)

Velour is a material similar to what you see on sunvisors and headliner....
