Default valve cover modifications done. pics

Finally done.. Still have a little fine sanding to do, can't see it in the pics.. These will look much better than what I currently run.. My coil packs are relocated under the cowling and always disliked the look of the valve covers with the bracket mounts..

Good Look. Filling in the parrallel lines with a different color paint might set them off even more!

Thanks.. yeah i am going to do something with it to break up the black.. Just not sure yet what I am going to do..

looks real good. I painted my valve cover and coil brackets gloss black, then painted the coil plugs red...

looks good... I wonder if you could hit the raised portions with a file or flat sanding block for a brushed aluminum against black finish.

nice work...do the bolt holes go into the cover any?as in do you have to do any filling?

There are dimples inside the covers where the bracket holes are.. The holes themselves do not go through into the valve cover. You will have to fill the holes that are left after cutting off and smoothing the bracket mounts. I used JB weld, but there are other options available to fill the holes..

You can see the holes that needed filling.. They aren't very deep..

my wife would kill me if i set my valve cover on her dinning room table christmas placemat. the same way i (I.E.) would kill her when she told me she wash my car... and then asked what she used she said some pad under the sink, some SOS pad i found. lol... true story tho my dads high school GF washed his 77 trans am and well enough said that girl isnt my mother. hahaha......
