I'm quite jealous... My dad was never been into fixing up cars when I was at home. He just maintains and believes stock is the best and only way hands down. He thinks i just tear it up whenever I modify it.

Back to the thread, great job with the car! Nice to see it de-ricerized, and done right. A buddy of mine had a jackson racing supercharged 88 civic, and that little **** would move when it had traction!

I've grown pretty tired of civics, but it's nice to see a good solid build no matter what it is, and sadly the civics these days could use a good model build. well done.

haha mark you wish your 350Z had ***** of steel like this honda!

ramairjohn, once i get some free time the trans am is getting some SERIOUS changes, but more on that later.
I Was going to do a simple high compression motor with a shot of spray on the camaro, but being friends with snyper he is pestering me to do a turbo instead so ill prob bite the bullet and do that, but im also turboing the trans am so i may keep the camaro just a simple big cube n-a motor, who knows?

Bringin this back from the dead with a little update

Well my buddy ended up not getting his leave from the army when he thought he was going to, so i ended up keeping the car for him untill this thanksgiving when he got leave.. but i got kind of bored with it, so i ended up pulling the windows out of it, and turning my Two stage paint job into a 3 stage by adding some pearl to it. Here are a few finished pics of it with its winter rims in place, ill post up some paint pics monday when im at work because they are all on that computer.

All in all it was a fun project, its no RWD powerhouse, but it definatly had enough ***** to put a bunch of Wrxs, hondas, and 5.0 stangs in the rearview, anyway heres the finished pics.. Hes gettin the windows tinted, and of course gettin some new rims when the summer comes

I wanted to paint the Fog light surounds Black to give it a meaner look, but my buddy likes them all painted so they stayed. I Moulded the 99-00 Civic Si fog lights and the lip to the bumper

nice work.. Only thing I think it needs a nice set of aftermarket black wheels. But great work, can't believe how clean it looks.

Nicely done. Tastefully modded, and very clean. Just because it's an import, doesn't mean it has to have crappy body kits, huge wings and a 4" fart can. I bet it's a fun ride for sure.

Anyway to relocate the filter somewhere where it won't be sucking up hot air from under the engine bay? This was a great thread and awesome build!

Theblueknight, i actually tried the filter a few diffrent ways, and this one had the lowest inlet temps, plus you dont want a ton of piping, it just makes the supercharger work harder.

Lol Thanks Tbird, the Camaro is comming in shortly, just finishing up swaping an engine in my 96 GTI, another car i got for free lmao

The car got great MPG, and was a really fun car on the street, i got it dyno tuned a while back and it put down 226Rwhp, and 240lbs of torque, it was an excellent sleeper, and with the JDM LSD tranny it would really chirp the gears with a pretty wicked blows whine, tons of built motor Dohc guys got dethroned by this little single cam.

In the world of riced out or hacked up civics i had to do one so clean you could eat off everything

Heres a little update on the car, He ripped off the Factory pully and got a custom Billet CNC pully made to run about 10lbs of boost

Then he ordered an AEM wide band, and a bunch of goodies from Bisimoto a company that has a 700whp 1.6 single cam. He got a custom cam for the setup, lightweight valves, springs, and titanium retainers, and cam gear. A Bisimoto Spec'd AEM EMS stand alone and one of their headers, then hes gonna get a more agressive tune on it and lay some really good numbers down
