I've "heard" that the slim ones are more reliable since they are digital. Not sure how true that is. But for what it is worth, I have a set of slim digitals for a year and a half now and never have failed to turn on, even in subzero (-15) weather, and that is plugged straight into the stock harness, no relays or anything.

I installed my DDM tuning HIDs earlier yesterday with no problems at all. So far I feel their HIDs are great. The only problem was flipping the connector backwards. Next, HID fogs.

Yeah, pics...and which kit did you get? The $29.99 kit or the slim ballast one for $49.99? What are you talking about having to flip the connectors backwards?

From my understanding our headlights are "reverse polarity". So when using a standard connector, it needs to be rotated 180* then plugged in so the connection matches up.

They're a lot brighter than what the pics show. I took the pics in auto flash off so I'll take better ones in a few days. I installed the same exact kit on my 2010 Civic about 2 hours ago too. I bought the slim ballast kit.

These pics were also taken about 1 min after start up so they probably weren't at its brightest yet.
