I know these aren't a camaro or firebird, but its a good comparison,
the civic has 4300k, my truck has 5000k HID's they are a little blue in the pictures but has burned off to a very bright white light output.
and here's the color as they have been used a couple weeks

I just read this on another forum:
"make sure that you securely mount the ballast to the cars chassis by bolting it down. Don't use zip-ties to secure it. This is because you need to give the ballast a solid electrical ground for its case to minimize the EMI that radiates from the ballast."

So I went with 35w 5000K from DDMtuning and Eurolamp housings. I haven't got the housings in, so I just put the fog lights in so far. Here's some 3.0MP cellphone pics.
