can you sand the lines out of brushed aluminum rims?
i've always wondered this since i got my black rims with a brushed aluminum lip.
i sanded some rims on a 92 ranger once..they're the 8 hole style rims..i was just trying to sand them down a little then was gonna polish them with aluminum polish on the trunk rims but i went too deep and made the rim completely smooth.
i was just thinking the aluminum lip would shine better if the lines are gone. just a thought. most flat aluminum surfaces can be polished to a chrome like surface.
