There is no need for the rubber grommet either though right? I kinda want to cut it off to minimize bulk in the wiring.

Nah there is no need for it but just be cautious to not cut the HID lamp wires of course.

It doesn't mention it anywhere in the manual.

OK, I got impatient and took some pics this evening.
Be advised that they're not aligned correctly. I'll put the shrouds up after I get everything aligned.
Each pic is clickable so I don't blow up the edges of the thread.

Lookin' good!!

I can see you used a flash in the first pic and not in the second which is why the output looks so much different between the two. Can't wait to see the final shots with everything buttoned up.

BTW, love the hood.

6000K low beams and fogs...the high beams are designated as 6000K but obviously they're a lot more yellow than the HIDs...in speaking with Brian, getting halogens to match HIDs is pretty difficult--not worth it to me really.

The lights are mostly aligned as best I could (maxed out the vertical adjustment screws), but I think I'll need to do some more tweaking at some point. And my condo parking lot doesn't have ANY perfectly level spots to be dead nuts with the alignment.

Wow...your car looks great with those especially with the HID foglights! I think your alignment looks spot on personally. Thanks for sharing!

Nice to see more pics cant wait for my set. I like how the lights are more circular to match my formula front set up with 4 lower circular led lights.

Sorry to be late to the party, I spent yesterday helping a buddy swap clutches. I took these Friday night while the car was still on the lift.
Here's the low beams in place. I'm tempted to paint the black trim pewter similar to how the c6 corvettes have their headlight bezels that match the car color.

And here is the difference between the Bosch euro conversions housings with H7 HID's and the new projectors. I've yet to have the car outside at night, but as you can see, this is why HID's in projectors are about the best you can get for light. They focus the light so much better than rgular housings. Granted, they are quite a bit more, but it's worth it to me.

Yes I stalk my own thread. Looks great! Can't wait to see a comparison shot from a little farther back compared to the halogen setup you have.

That is pretty damn awesome! The quality looks pretty amazing to say the least. The TA owners officially have a better option than the camaros!

I think I have high beam projector envy simply for how good it looks. I might swap over in the future.

That's the reason I got the high beams as well, I thought it'd look stupid to have the old bulbs in the mix (but to each his own, not trying to put down anyone that didn't get the premium package).

Now it's making me long for getting it all put back together. I've got about 3 days for the epoxy to set completely on the motor's before I put them back in. I'm glad I did it all at once as my driver's side gear (nylon) was already showing some wear in the gear itself. I haven't driven the car much (only 25K) and not used the headlights a ton...but I was suprised to find wear already in the teeth. Had I not gotten the new metal gear I think it would've failed in another few years (maybe 2)...which goes to show they should've just put in a metal gear from the beginning!

Oh well I know by Wednesday I can start putting it all back together. I'm thinking the next night or two I will put the BLS into the headlight brackets to get ready and maybe even run the wiring for it.

Too excited, the only fun part will be finding a place where I can adjust the beams.

Also, where are you guys putting the ballast? I was looking around and trying to figure out where I wanted to mount it, but without the brackets in place on the car I couldn't positively decide on the placement of the ballast. I've already ran wiring for the passenger's side door motor so I'm just going to run all the wiring along with that, but since the leads are so short from the ballast to the bulb, I was just curious.

These look great. I can not wait to get mine next month. Quick question though. from the pics it looks like the kit comes fairly unassembled. Is it complicated to piece together?
