SOM WS6 - My latest appearance mods: chrome.
I've slowly been making the car look how I like it. I bought a decal kit not long ago, and have been slowly adding everything to it.
The kit came with the Ram Air decals also that go on the side of the hood scoops, but I'm undecided on putting them on, I like the clean hood look. What do yall think?...I've removed the side moulding, and added all the chrome decals you see. I've got a ton of blisters from removing the side moulding.. but it was so worth it! Tell me what you think.
First was the bird decal:
Then PONTIAC letters
Then filler panel decals
It came with an extra bird, so I put it on my FTP lid
Then removed side moulding
Then Trans Am door letters
Got the Am on the passenger side a little crooked I'll buy another decal another day to make it perfect, but for now I'm fine with it
Also not long ago I put in white LED reverse lights and 35w 5000k HIDs.
They're actually VERY white, pic makes it look purple?
In the next few months, I'm gonna get rid of these wheels and get the machined face 18" deep dish C5 wheels with some 315's in the rear. Get a slotted rotor kit, and probably either polish the calipers, or paint them SOM. I'll probably polish them though.

looks great. i see you finally bit the bullet and installed the emblems by themselves- nice and clean! and nobody (but you) will noticed the crooked "Am"
honestly, i really like the Z06', i think they look better than the machined C5's will look on your car. and i'm generally not a huge fan of the Z06's. but they really fit your car.

We pulled the cam, valve springs, PCM, headers, and a few other things and threw it in this car.

Yeah.. I never imagined it happening. Luckily it was not a bad wreck, but if I was a half second faster I would have got hit hard in the door, and been probably badly injured, she was moving pretty fast. I was lucky, since that was like 4 days before I went into Basic Training..

yeah the AM isn't too bad. Hell, the AM on my drivers side door is slightly crooked i think and i'm 99.9% sure the door has never been painted so that would be the factory installer who did it.

looks great where did you get the reverse lights at?
as for the blisters from removign the side moldings, what you need was a roll off wheel i did mine in fifteen minutes with a roll off wheel and a cordless drill made life so much easier

Lol, I've always dreamed of a SOM with chrome accents, and your car was a great inspiration
