how do you all get the vent out, is there a clip i need to deal with or do i just pull it out. I tryed pulling it, but i was afraid the vent is going to break.

awsome pics tally those look sick what size are the outer ones bigger then 2 1/16 or is it just that style of gauge that looks like it fills it better

What are the "FERNCO "tubing at Home depot what section do I find them in. Just ordered my Aeroforce scan gauge and want to install it in the center vent! thanks

its a rubber PCV tubing connector.

i hear they just pop in, they fit so snug they keep them selves in there no problem. im trying to find a 2 5/8 tranny tep gauge to put in my t/a

Guess I'll ***** out some pics of mine. I went the cheap pcv coupler route as well. The brand i picked up wasn't fernco but a competitor's version of it. I dont recall the brand but after having worked with a fernco one some time afterwards, the one that i used on my car was a softer rubber and ever so slightly thicker which i believe led to a cleaner install. On the some of the other pics I've seen on this site of the fernco ones it looks like some of them have a hairline gap around the coupler and the AC ring. Other differences were that w/ the gauges I went with I was able to sink them in flush with the coupler which i love the look of. The center gauge wasnt the same brand so i ended up buying the cheapest gauge that the company sold, tore it apart and retrofitted my A/F ratio gauge into the casing. Turned out pretty sick looking i think.

Nice looking cars in here. I think Hope Depot should have a 'Speed Shop' isle sponsored by Fernco for our cars.

looks good! i had 3 gauges in my center vents of my 93 trans am, i made rings out of sheet-metal from work for the gauges, i wasnt thinking when i installed the gauges cuz no air got by! lol... but i like the look way better vs gauges on the pillar!
