2 1/16 guage in T/A vent.
I have seen them for sale, but i have searched and searched and I cannot find who sells what im looking for. I want the guage pod that pops in the vent and will still let the air blow arround the guage.

The only way for this to work would be make your own piece & cut vents into it but your not gonna get much airflow around the gauge anyhow.
The absolute best way to mount them in our cars if you wanna retain vents is put only 1 gauge in the center vent so both driver & passanger have 2 vents each.
Here is a pic of mine installed with the spacer. Look how little room is around the gauge even in a pic thats not to scale. This is a 2 1/16" Aeroforce gauge.

Not to hijack the thread...but MOAR pics of 2 1/16 guages installed in the vents please. I have a triple pillar pod now but I am thinking about installing them in my vents.

You likely could buy the Speed Inc version and have a machine shop drill perimeter holes around the outside, or even have them make them from scratch. Sort of have it look like a revolvers cylinder. You would likely see wiring through the holes though.
Someone asked for pics.

I used the Fernco "Proflex" coupler part #3001-22. bought at home depot for $8. there is a write up on here somewhere on how to install em. just have to cut a slight trench around the coupler so that it will be held in by the vent ring.
