Pulled my first engine and rebuild when I was 16, takes time and energy but is well worth it in the end. Are you keeping the same wheels
and yes, i'll be keeping the same wheels for a while i suppose. in the future it will get some fikse/hre/ccw/iforged or something of that nature with flat black spokes with gloss black lip. probably 18"x10" w/ at least a 275/285, and 19"x11-12" w/ at least a 315/325. that's of course once i hit the lottery...

i also got the trunk separator in, along with fixing the port on the box. here are some better pictures of it all finished up.

thanks alot man, i actually turned 19 over the summer, but none the less the compliments are appreciated, i'm really proud of what i do. regarding your question about the speed inc bracket, the issue with the sway bar was actually first recognized, and discussed in this thread here. I don't have any pictures of what it is i specifically did to resolve the issue, but to state it as easily as possible, i had a 1.75" thick block the size of the sway bar mounting bracket, and drilled according to the holes in the mounting bracket as well. a block of metal like this [o o] if you get what i'm trying to say? lol.

well guys, i moved to live with my mother in San Antonio, Tx which is about 5-6hrs away from my previous residence. i'll be attending college here, so last weekend i made the move to get on my feet a little before starting school. I'm Happy to say that i drove my z28 5-1/2hrs from lufkin, Tx to San Antonio, Tx with not a single issue. 375 miles and a good 40-60 psi of oil pressure the whole way w/ the car not even going above 185 degrees. I'm extremely happy with the car so far except it looks as if i have a slight oil leak from what looks to be the rear main...
but i need to further inspect this situation.
other than that, no problems. got our garaged cleaned out, and got my car into it. really thankful for this instead of my driveway like before.

As far as springs and shocks go, i'm currently running Qa1 single adjustable front coil over suspension. it's got 325lb springs up front with those also made by Qa1. Temporarily i'm running cut stock springs w/ stock shocks in the rear until i can afford my coil over setup for the rear also. i bought the fronts from a member on here slightly used for like $375. The ride quality for the front seems to be pretty good, but its hard to tell because the back rides pretty nasty. but that will be taken care of soon.
Thanks man! i appreciate the nice comments.

Man I'm impressed. I was 20 when I did the LT1 swap into my then V6 Firebird, however I did it in a shop. Not out in my driveway haha. Props to you dude.
Very well put together, clean and simple yet stunning. Which is exactly how I do things. You've got a great looking car you should be quite proud of.

When I was 19 I had a 94 Z28 and couldn't even change the plugs! You did an amazing job and what a feeling it must of been to drive 500 miles in a motor you built! Big Thumbs up man!
