^^ wow that looks great, very nice! Do your coils in SOM, brackets polished, and valve covers black. Finish it off with a black lid with LOTB custom black/SOM badge lol.. Just an idea haha

LOL...thanks, that would look sharp. I'm a fan of less is more so I'll probably just leave the engine bay as is with my painted FAST. Besides that my engine LOOKS stock. Although I kinda like the idea of the LOTB badge on my new 98mm lid. I have an extra one too.

Thanks, yours also! That is Duplicolor Pontiac Metallic Blue engine paint from the late 60's GTO's etc.

Here's my painted ls6. It was painted today at a GM dealership. My friend did it for free! It's a GM gunmetal color. Not the best pic. I'll get better pics when I put it back on the car.

Mine is pretty plain, but i thought it turned out great considering i used spray paint for plastic from autozone... 2 coats adhesion promoter, 4 coats black, 3 coats clear, and read paint pen.... cost me maybe $30 total.
