HID Questions
HID Questions Hey there guys i'm going to be buys some hids for my dd its a 99 olds alero and it has the auto lights on it. I"m just wounding when i buy my hids do i need to get the HID Wiring Harness the thing that hooks up to your battier.
I didn't need one for my Camaro, and my HID's have been on for about 3 years. Usually if it's as a replacement for your stock lights, you'll be okay. But if it's to serve as an additional set of lighting (e.g. high, slows, and fogs) you'd probably be better off getting the harness. I hear that they recommend the harnesses as a way to limit any liability on the vendor's part.
