Default WHITE CAMARO caliper color???

I am going to paint the calipers on my 2000 camaro...what color calipers would look good on it??

My camaro is white and I got z06 corvette rims on it (black with chrome lip)

If you have a white camaro with caliper work ----> Post the pics!

Thanks

I have polished calipers, white brackets, and light silver painted rotors.

However, I dont think this setup would look that good on your car. I think your best options would be polished calipers with black brackets, or red calipers and black or red brackets (similar to an OE zo6 setup).

That looks really nice with the chrome rims...got a couple questions for you:

1) Do the white brackets get dirty easily (brake dust)? (I was originally thinking about using G2 white paint for the calipers and brackets but then turned away from it because I didnt have to clean them daily for them to look good)
2) Did you polish them your calipers your self? how?? if not...how much did it run you?

Great job on your camaro....Looks great!!!

I used the G2 paint for the brackets, and it is good stuff. It took several coats to cover with the white, but it turned out nice. Brake dust really hasn't been an issue, I have some kind of semi-metallic pads (came with the SSBC rotors). The point is they aren't low dust ceramics. I try to wipe down the brackets and calipers when I wash and they are never really dirty. I polished the calipers by hand. Start with 220, step up to 1000 or 1500 grit and polish out with mothers metal polish. It takes about an hour for each caliper if you take your time.

To all users with white calipers...how often do you have to clean them to keep them looking at least decent?....(with what type of brakes?)

Thats my car that "The Guz" posted with the white calipers

I had them painted black and red but i saw that everywhere and on every kind of car. I didnt see white as often so I swapped to that and I love it. I have 4 coats of clear on them and they wipe off and look new in about 10 seconds.

For the heck of it here is a pic when they were red and black.

I do like the look of the white caliper behind the black wheel you have. Good choice in doing them white.

So you are saying the White calipers clean pretty easily? (what tipe of brake pads do you have?) and how often do you clean your calipers to look decent, at least

Blue looks good too on white. I've seen a while car with a metallic blue it looked good. Could have been BadMrFrosty's car. Not sure though.

I plan on painting my white G8 calipers white some time this spring/summer. I am going to be using Duplicolor wheel paint just like I did with my SS only in silver. Seems to hold up pretty well. FWIW.
