Default my trans am hood transformation PICS!!!!

i have always thought that the ramair hoods were by far the best looking lines ever put on a car. Dont get me wrong i think all trans am look bad *** like they are but the ramair hood takes it to the next level. An yes, i am bias. lol I love the car so much more now with its new hood and i think every TA should have one. This pic is how it started out.

then i went out and found me a ws6 hood that WASNT damaged on,( believe it or not) a cash for clunckers car.600$ with the ram air box.(GREAT DEAL right?) It came off a white ws6 so i had it painted to match my car by a pretty popular bodyshop in town. Wasnt cheap tho. 500$ for prep, paint and blend to fenders. I wanted it done right so i spared no exspese.

This was taken after paint and installed and blended. This is why i love OEM hoods over CHEAP aftermarket. i already learned my lesson with cheap SS camaro ebay hoods, so this go round it would be OEM or bust.

a side pic with my DD. My gf calls them the beater and the beast lololol

well today my hood project is COMPLETE with the help of fouthcircle.coms black bird stripes. i decided to go with black pinstripes. It was a little nerve racking putting them on but they turned out ok. i have never installed any kinda big vinyl or anything like that so pretty much anyone can install a set of these things. sorry no far shots but its pouring rain here and im stuck in the garage. thanks for looking and enjoy

i'll say it....who the hell cash for clunkered a v8 f-body, let alone ws6??? trade it in for a camary??? wtf man? could have sold it to an enthusiast here on-line and prolly made that much for it. what a shame crushing cars that can't be replaced. i guess at least the parted out car went to help some good people though. hood looks great. now your job is to go out and pollute all you can in revenge of the scrapped ws6!!!

just let me know if you have any questions installing them. Its pretty straight foward. the hardest part was getting the edges of the decal to stick when removing the backing. When you get you decal and masking on there and squeeged out, just soak the hell out of it until the masking lets go of the decal.
