My Interior/Exterior Photo Shoot
Well it was a nice day in texas today. 75 outside and not a cloud in the sky, so I figured I'd clean up the car. Today I did the interior, and tomorrow weather permitting I'll do the exterior and take another round of pictures. I posted some pics a few months back, since then I have added wheel spacers for the rear, tinted turn signals, buffed head lights, and an slp ss grill.
My process is armour-all the plastics, then condition the leather, then vacuum. The next stuff I burn some money on is some nice floor mats since the previous owner seemed to have an issue with holding his coke bottles steady while driving
Enjoy
Got my valance yesterday. Just finished fitting it and took it to the body guy. should have it back by friday and install it by saturday. here are a few quick pics of initial fitting.

finally had some free time to spend a few hours taking some decent pics and editing them. photobucket raped the quality of the photos which pisses me off but such is life.
these have my most recent mods: slp ss grill, tinted turn signals, cleaned up the headlights, added some arp studs/spacers to give a better fit for the oem z06's. My valance and cme tips are in the mail to be installed soon. will updated with pics when i get all that installed

I'm not really sure if it's a conditioner or cleaner. I'm sure it's a cleaner, I'll get the info off the bottle. It's probably shiny because of the sunlight coming in ghoughthe garage and the leather cleaner needs to sink in a little
Never heard the "looks like a used car" saying before.

I don't mean used car like its been all beat to hell or anything... I mean like dealers prep cars for the lot, and armor all everything because most people equate shiny with clean and well kept. As a detailer I'm very much dislike the shiny look, but thats just my opinion.
I'm eager to see the outside all cleaned up, looks like a well taken care of car.

I use to use armor all but after a while it was fading some of my interior.
I swicthed to Meguiars Natural Shine and it brought every piece back to it natural color.
Its personal preference.
Try Zymol on your leather. 2 steps cleaning then condition. Best stuff I have ever used on the fake GM leather

you want interior to have sheen, not shine. I've seen way worse than yours, but I always like to wipe everything down with a clean soft towel afterwards to get rid of any excess product.
I've seen some where I'd be afraid to sit in and get grease spots on my clothes.
