Default New black paint/wheels on my LT1 T/A

Spent my entire spring break painting the T/A. Factory GM Gloss Black w/ Chrysler Brilliant Black Crystal Pearlcoat on the wheels and hood scoop. It's really subtle and somewhat hard to see, but the flake gives it away and it really looks badass in person i think. also VHT'd the corners, rear markers and third brake light, as well as painted the calipers black and did the Trans Am decals on them. Really happy how it turned out, now need some go fast parts whataya guys think?

crappy garage pic to show the calipers...

also need to get some center caps for the wheels, but got such a great deal on them i didn't care

looks good man. it's gonna be hard to keep your eyes off the car, when I painted my entire front end last month I couldn't stop myself from reverse parking into spots so I can stare at it when I walk away.

I think it looks really good. Where did you get the logos for the calipers? And did you have the calipers powdercoated?

Nice job. I am with the others about the hood, but at least you didnt put a 98+ WS6-esque hood on. Next thing on my list would be a drop in stance.

Car looks awesome. I actually think the hood really works with the style of the car.

Great job

I agree. i think an oem WS6 hood would look much better, but then i might be biased

thanks for the feedback guys, appreciate it.

the caliper decals are actually some leftover vinyls i had from my old Trans Am, i made a pretty big order with Brent Franker and he sent me some extras, so i pulled these outta my stiker folder and they worked out great.

I painted the calipers with leftover paint from the spray gun (mixed a little too much hehe) so just dipped a brush in there and slapped on a few coats.

The hood is probably my favorite on LT1 T/A's. i had a 97 WS6 and the hood was cool but i like this one better so it's not goin anywhere. i just think it goes with the car so well...

and yes, i will be dropping the front slightly so it should tuck the 17s a bit nicer and give it that rake i'd like.

wheel spacers were from when i had OEM C6 wheels on it, and these deep dish C6 Z06 wheels came off a vette at work so they still required the use of the 1.25" adapters.

Thanks again guys
