Mystic Teal to Bermuda Blue?
I am taking the car to the body shop in 2 days and I have been looking very hard at the Bermuda Blue color they have on the 05 Grand Prix, Tahoe, Avalanche, ect. From what I can see, the color is nearly the same with the exception of some gold in the green making the green look more emerald and less hunter when the color flops. I don't think I will have to re-jam the car if I went with this color but I am asking the experts here if they know. How close is the bermuda to the mystic?

while yes they are two very close colors, probably more than any other factory colors, there is still a pretty big difference. In the sunlight the Mystel Teal looks more emerald green until you catch the edges and dark spots, then its blue/purple, but in my opinion, Bermuda Blue is more blue (duh) and doesnt have as much green in it. You will definitely notice a difference in the jams in my opinion, although if wouldn't be that bad if you picked the right tape line, you might be able to pass it off with no one noticing, hehe. might be something to consider and would be cool to see, but i know the colors are noticeably different depending on your lighting.

I really wish I could have taken more shots of it but they just painted it an hour before I arrived and this is the best one of the 4 pics I took through a dusty door.
I did alot of the work before hand so that cut some of the cost down but I was quoted in the ball park of 1200 to 1400. That doesn't include wet sanding and or buffing but I think it will be fine for a while.

that's a great deal!! ..hopefully they do a good job for that price. I had to pay $1000 to paint my ws9 hood (both sides cleared), my headlight lids (!pontiac), headlight bezels, front bumper, license plate cover, rear bumper, spoiler (fiberglassed a chip on the edge), side mirrors, and air lid.

Thanks guys. I agree that the clouds weren't helping the green to pop. It will also look better once it has cured for a month or two and I have it buffed out.
I really don't know the suspension set up. I bought it that way and all I can tell you is the springs are blue.

Hmm, I don't like that Grand Prix color as much as real Mystic Teal, but I will say one thing...
it sure looks better on a Camaro than on a Grand Prix!
I only like the color of my GP (stealth gray) and the non-metallic red on GPs. The rest of the colors just don't do anything for me.
