Default Finally got the car back

I finally got my car back after a year wait. Its bascially a whole new car with a Jasper Engines motor, new cam, new clutch, new rear with torsen and 410s, under hood dress up kit from TSS, and a bunch of other stuff. Here are a few pics and a vid of the idle with the cam.

Thats a pretty good sounding V6.

The car looks pretty good. I am not a fan of the GS stripes, nor am I a fan of the red line wheels, but I wouldn't say it look bad. Definitely needs to be lowered, and needs some black paint behind the grill.

Other than that, I think it looks pretty good. Cowl hoods look great on Camaro's, and yours is no exception. Enjoy the car, a year is a long wait.

Good looking car, but definatly needs lowered. Why not go with a ls swap while you were at it

This is the first V6 camaro I've seen that I not only like, but would drive. After the !4x4. Any dyno numbers? I'm really really curious to see what kind of power this thing makes.

Thanks guys, glad to hear i represent nicely for the v6 crowd. As far as a reason the ls1 isnt in there is 2 fold. Mainly im just hooked on the v6 platform. Its not the normal thing and you can acutally get pretty good power if you decided to go the boost route (which i will do eventually). A friend of mine is putting down over 400 to the wheels on a mostly stock motor and a home brew turbo kit. The other was cost. It would have been a lot more to do the ls1 swap. I even went and checked out a few wrecked ones to see if i could find a good deal. In the end the <3 for the v6 platform and cost weighed out doing it.

As far as numbers. I would expect somewhere in the 230-240 range. I plan to go after the car is broke in and the tune is freshened up. Times should be in the high 13s with a good run, which i will be plenty happy with. I know it doesnt seem like great #'s for a camed car, however its plenty enough to pick off mustangs on a daily basis lol. I use to run spray on the car, and havent ruled it out this time as this cam is known to love the giggle juice.

Pre 06 GT mustangs are a joke without FI.

Exhaust note on those cars are sweet, i just wish the power was there to back up the looks/sound in new edge cars.

What motor did you get from jasper engines?

I bet its more fun to drive the car from what it was when it was stock, I hada blast in my 3800II.

Its just a reman'd 3.8. The gears have gave me the most change. Before this motor was in it, i had another cam'd 3.8 so mainly its the gears that seem like the biggest differance (though this cam is slightly larger). here is a vid of the old cam, it had a nice rumble as well.
