Side Molding Part Number

does anyone know what the part numbers are for the side moldings for my 2000 Trans Am? For some reason the color is fading on the molding compared to the rest of the car. Its the pieces that alot of people take out when they do the side molding removal on the side. My car is garaged most of the year so I dont get how it could fade?

A lot of them fade. Just take them off. Makes it a lot cleaner

Im really not a fan of removing them, id rather just replace them if they are still in production.

Either take those off or paint those. Why would you pay for new ones paint them and take off the old ones just to replace them?

I searched through gmparts I just get confused since they dont have many diagrams, I would hate to order the wrong parts!

Oh and id just think it would be cheaper to just replace them then to take them off and get them painted by a body shop I guess.

yeah that has to be the MOST confusing site ever made... it took me about 15 min to find the fkn side moldings, i will be pealing mine off here when it warms up just a bit more, and this assures me that if all else fails i can just buy more and paint them and put them back on if something bad comes up... : /
