Hey guys, my tan interior is getting to be nasty. Its 12 years old and has seen better days. I want to put some 6le seats in eventually but I do not know what a black racing style seat would look like with tan interior. So does anyone have any pics of a MTM or BGM car with black interior, cause Im not sure if I still want tan.

My MTM car has the charcoal interior and has seen much better days too. Wanna take a vote on who's is worse? I'm planning on going ebony eventually with 6LE seats. If I can figure it out I'd like to wrap my stock panels with some nice vinyl/leather stuff. Maybe an option for you too?

No sounds like yours is bad lol. I just got mine back from the shop and they didnt clean the car. Like there is grease prints on the visors and what not. but my carpet is shot. Can I just get a picture of your car interior that way I can see the comparison of the color of like the door. Also ebony is the like graphite or light grey and then there was black.

I was thinking maybe like black carpet, then re wrap the doors or something hmm....

Ebony is the really black color. Charcoal is the graphite/gray color. Ebony replaced the charcoal in 2000 I think it was.

I'll get you a pic soon. I don't have any (because its so crummy ) and right now it is raining outside and I don't have a garage. Supposed to clear up in the next day or two.

There have been some threads around here of others who have done it, when done right it looks really nice. Better than stock. And, the added thickness fills in the panel gaps too, helps reduce rattles and improves the look of the seams lol

Sorry this took so long.

Pardon the dirt, and the crappy "mat" on the floor, and the missing paint on the top of the rocker, and... yeah...

I'm planning on wrapping the interior with something darker. Close to the ebony color that the newer ones have. Although, I'm not sure how that will affect the steering wheel, I really don't want to replace that.

I'll have my brother (02gtp4now) post up some pics of his car tomorrow, it's bgm and had tan but we swapped it out to black and it looks so much better

My interior look exactally like SparkyJJO's a few weeks ago before I traded for leather seats. Then I re-wrapped the door pannels in a fake leather the other day.

So this thread really shows that this isnt mystic teal or BGM (which people think sometimes), but you can still get a good idea of how it looks with black 6les

Looks good ^ are your 6le seats two different colors. Like a green going down the middle?

nope, all black for now. I think the white LEDs are just putting that hue on the tops of the seats.

i plan on replacing those inserts with suede in the near(ish) future
