Do 3157's work in reverse housings? Question about fogs too.

hahaha. Side mirrors help, but i find that (even w 20% all around) the tint overpowers any lighting. But i also have stock lights under covers.. when i niteshade my tail lights ill be putting in something brighter, at least for the reverse lights.
Didnt realize, however, that the halogens produced more usable light. Even with those massive towers, the smds arent very luminous?

^^they are not bad, but my 5% tint sure doesn't help. Your car should actually produce more light since the reverse light housings are better suited for SMTs vs Camaros.

I got the 3156's on a 5% tint. They look great from outside the car but find them to be not as bright as the stock bulbs when backing up and trying to look thru the back tinted window. I thought I was the only one who thought so but seems like you guys have the same experience. I might try the 3157's when they burn out. They were only 4.99 with free shipping on ebay.
