Cool Quick pics from today

Well, it has been a while since I have posted pics so I thought I would share a few i took today. Springs/shocks are on the list of things to do this season. I was hoping to get some better pics but my usual location was blocked off. The lighting was rough and the scenery isn't great, but I wanted to provide some updated shots. Criticism is welcome, the car is about finished appearance-wise I'm trying to keep it clean and simple. The car is always a work in progress.

A few shout-outs for those who have helped me out/sold me stuff:
Brent Franker for all my vinyl
Emblem Pros for the nose emblem and rear fill-ins
Jeff S. for the help and advice with body work/allowing use of tools
Sean (The Powder Pro) for the powder coated calipers and brackets
Countless sellers from the classifieds
Greg Weiss @ Quality Window Tints
All of LS1Tech for the inspiration to mod

Thanks for looking

It was a very long process, I wanted to make sure it look PERFECT. I have pics of the products on my phone, I will have to get them onto my computer so I can make a mini-guide or whatever. The 2 part filler I used was 3M Duramix 4247, AMAZING stuff. On top of that used some filler, primer, sealer.

I don't know how bad the roads are around you but lower it a little it will look better. Otherwise it looks good.

I agree, I filled the key hole and the paint didn't lay out perfectly smooth, the bowtie was an easy way for me to "bandaid" the paint issue. I don't think it looks bad, but I think the rear would flow better without it. It is tough to tell in the pics but the bowtie is pewter to match my paint, i was trying to tie the rear panel into the rest of my scheme (pewter/black/chrome).

he already did the whistler mod...

im not a fan of vht corners, they just dont look right to me... other than my own personal issues i think a really mild drop like mine would really set the car off, also maybe some z06 style z28's badges in the stainless or the 1st gen z28 emblems... either way other than that i can tthink of anything else...

I've thought about an SS spoiler, even though I like the look it is REALLY hard for me to think about putting any SS items on my Z. The bowtie is there to stay for now as I explained earlier.

Attention to detail is what I'm after I appreciate that. I did a quickie clean-up job on the headlights, as seen in this pic they look OK but not crystal clear. I've been thinking about getting some sonar headlights, still on the fence about it.

This is another thing i have been thinking about doing. I like the light tint 02gtp4now has on his tails. I'm afraid to do it and not like it, eventually I will probably take the plunge. I don't want to over-do the black on the rear.

I did the same thing when I painted my car.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/paint-bod...ill-holes.html

Also, OP, nice ride. our cars look a lot alike. I added the SS spoiler and hood when I painted mine. I also thought about getting the black sticker letters to fill the front grille. Are they the same as the ones that go in the regular plastic grille?
