Best bang for your buck HID Kit?
Hey guys. I'm currently in the market for a great HID kit and am not sure which one is the best for the money. I have heard great things about the BLS Kit, but am really not keen on spending 500 bucks on an HID kit. I have also heard great things about the Hella kit, but wasn't able to find their website. I'm set on 5k or 6k for the regular and fogs, and would like to keep it around 200-300 out the door or so. Thanks for any help guys

This should help... https://ls1tech.com/forums/stereo-el...oice-hids.html
according to this the lows are a H4 type. Fogs are 880. I have projectors in my camaro and used 5000k for my lows and 3500k for my fogs...both are 35w.

Unless you plan on piecing together your own projector kit, I'd suggest going with the BLS kit. You could go with a sealed-beam conversion, but those are still reflector lights and if you put HIDs in them, the light will get scattered all over the place. Projectors focus the light, keeping you from blinding other drivers.

It depends on what you looikg for, ease of installation?, Looks?, Brightness?
The only kit that has all you need for projector HID's is the BLS kit. Othere then that you either have to buy the h4 housings or you drill out you bulbs and silicone HId's in them but you dont get a controlled focused beam.

I was thinking the 6500 or 5500 whatever is the white for the low beams, and a 7000 or something blue for the fogs cause I like the look of them but i dont like low light visibility and also im sure it attracks cops at night as well so id rather not run them constantly.

DDM tuning for sure... You cannot beat their prices and they come with a lifetime warranty. I have 35w 6000k in my lows and the 6000k's for my fogs just shipped They look amazing and are very bright. They will fit your car, just depends on what bulb you need. A few of my friends ordered kits from DDM for a Civic, Titan, and Tundra and they all worked fine.

Don't skimp out and put HIDs in halogen reflectors. HIDs were never meant to go in reflectors unless they were the specially designed ones that came with the car in which case you wouldnt be asking as you would have HIDs, but anyways spend the extra money on the BLS kit or retrofit your own projectors for a little less money.
