Default Thinking about changing up a few things

I finally have my car where i want it to be so ill start to enter it into some local shows to see if my car will win any awards. Im thinking of just making a few smaller touches to bring the car together. For right now just use the link in my sig "Pics" to get an idea about what the car looks like.

Im going to go take a quick pick of the rear for some idea on what it looks like. First thing is im not really sure what to do with the camaro letters in the back. I am thinking about putting some stainless inserts in the letters. My dad thinks i should do red because i have a black/red theme going with the car.

Sorry for the crappy photos. just something to get an idea of where it stands.

Next id like to remove the front emblem and get one customized from emblem pros but i need some ideas on what i could do.

In the interior i know for a fact im going to get some new floor mats. Because mine are a little faded and used and i wanted some that had SS on them. on afterthoughtsauto.com they have the SLP SS mats, those are most likely the ones im going to go with along with the rear hatch mat to match the set.

Im also thinking about putting the Camaro SS dash plaque from emblem pros but im also not sure what to fill in the blanks with. lol.

sounds good with the mats, and the plaque.

for the letters, i'd say go stainless steel. that will look the best. red... eh, not so much. even with the other stuff red, i don't think it'd look good.

thanks for the input. i was going to go with stainless from the get go but i figured id get more opinions on it.

some say to put hp/tq numbers on the plaque but there is stuff im always changing on the car to make it a little faster so i dont really want to put something on there that will always be changing

I know everyone is going to scream but...... matte black berger panel and stainless inserts, LT1 tail lights. I really lilke the SS emblems that are chrome around the outside and black on the inside as well. There is a black SS around me that has it done and it looks awesome!!!!!!

I would paint the inside of the CME. Did you remove the molding from your car yet?

funny thing is that a flat black burger panel was on my list of things to do. im glad you brought that up.

i installed the CME just a few days ago so i was giong to see if the exhaust carbon would cover it up but if it doesnt ill get some paint in there.

LT1 tails, stainless inserts and maybe stainless SS and bowtie emblem?
And also clean up under the hood, but I don't know how it looks.

Why? Just put some red or stainless inserts and be set. Nothing looks more cheap than a flat black berger panel.

Berger panel looks awful on black cars IMO.

Honestly I'd leave it how it is, the current tails and badges look great. Stainless Camaro letters would look fine but I think it looks just as good without them. Does anyone make "black chrome" Camaro inserts? That would look awesome, and a little more subtle.

stainless all the way man. red and black should only be carried so far before it becomes over done. stainless=classy. just my opinion.

the acrylic is just good plastic. itll be a layer of black then a layer of red, basically cut to your specs..

I have a nearly identical car. I went with red inserts from RKSport. The red is a slightly different shade than the SS emblems, but not too many people would even notice.

It's a crappy pic, but I can take some better ones for you if you want them! I'll have to wash it first...

Here's a pic before I got the taillight covers. I definitely love the inserts though, all Camaros should have them! Stainless or red, I'm sure your car will look good!

i found this picture in another thread. not sure who the car belongs to but the poster said it wasnt his and that he used trim black. im assuming thats a different type of flat. i think if done right the berger will look good. this one looks good. a lot of the others looked bad.
