Red Carpet & Emblem Pros pics
Ok, now to the meat and potatoes.
Having a convertible is awesome, but when it rains it sucks major ***, the original carpet has been waterlogged more times than I can count and just looked shitty from 16 years of abuse.
Now to the pics.
When I ripped out the old stuff this is what I found.

I scrubbed all that rust down with WD40 and sand paper.
There was about ten bucks in change under there.
And some other stuff.

The old ****.

The new stuff.

Installed.

Now on to the emblem pros.
They'll be here in a day or two.
I'll let that be a surprise for yall, until I get them on.
EDIT: Check Post #22 for emblem pros pics.

The mats had a GM holographic tag on them. They are really nice. The binding is actually twine as opposed to vinyl that most brands come with.
The fitment was pretty good on the carpet, it's just hard to make it settle when it's 50 pounds. The front fits like factory, but the back is kind of finicky because of the humps for the seats, since I'm not putting the rears in I just threw it in there for now and am letting it settle in for a week or so in the heat.
It feels and smells like a new car now. The inside is so inviting and warm looking too.

I was real careful in picking out a color. I had several different samples sent until I found the perfect match for the seats, which are GM's "Flame Red".
