Cool cleaned up the engine bay (hid wires, painted stuff)

Did the !passenger wire mod, hid all the grounding wires, took off all the stickers, tags, decals, and painted the valve covers, throttle body, and MAF. Also painted the nose support satin black.

Tell me what you think. And I know, I know, I need some FRCs. Carbon fiber ones are coming in time to go with the lid.

This mod hides the bigass wiring harness coming off the pcm.. Look under your hood on your passenger side by the pcm & then refer back to his first pic.. Then you'll see the difference..

Cool

Looks very One thing you might think about moving is the air filter for the smog pump. I cut the hose way back and it's down low where you really have to look to see it.

Keep up the good work.

Looks great.. especially the !Wire mod

You know.. chroming (or powder painting) those front brackets is VERY easy to do.. come on.. embrace the madness fully

Again.. good work on the bay.. looks clean and it flows well..

Thank you everyone for the compliments.

tranzam01 - not a problem at all. Always willing to help out a fellow LS1.

Poltergeist - hadn't thought of that. Thanks, I am going to try that.

I like the sticker-less bumper. Did you paint the bumper support to flat black?

Joe DIESO - I painted it satin black or "Low Gloss Black" (DE1634) made by Duplicolor from Autozone.

TransAm1313 - I just used high temp paint from Autozone, the spray can type. I did not sand any of the parts. I just cleaned them all off really well with CarbCleaner. Then I primered (three coats), painted (three coats), then clearcoated (three coats again). And what you see is what you get.

aww you puss, you didnt take off the fuse box stickers, lol, j/k, looks great, I think a painted intake manifold and maybe some kind of graphix on all that open area would look really killer, some flaming skulls or something, again it looks good!

Looks nice and clean. Like Steve said, get some of those brackets chromed, or pull out a polishing wheel and go to town. It will really clean it up even more.. The AC condensor looks so much better when polished. Give it a shot!
