I use meguiars gold class paste and like it. I know we used turtle wax hard shell paste on my dad's 04 yukon that sits outside all year and it was still beading up nice after a year.

I, personally, will only use Carnuba's... I don't mind waxing the car more often.

Eh, all Carnuba's are that way. It's a trade off really... You either get a phenomenal DEEP liquid shine out of a carnuba that only last a month or two, or you settle a little bit and go with a polymer glaze, sealant that gives a year of protection...

But not all nuba's are like that. There are few that go on smooth AND come off smooth.

Lol yeah that's the one. I actually use zymols cleaner wax and carbon wax myself. It lasts about 4 weeks for depth of finish and beeding is still going strong since the last wax before a car show in october last year. I love the finish it gives and its not too expensive. What are you washing the car with? That could be stripping off your wax too. I've been using ice, california gold, and something I can't remember the name of because its too expensive to buy very often for a car wash soap lol.

Don't rely on wax for filling in marring. It can be done, but IMO better, more durable results are achieved if you throw on a glaze and top that with whatever wax. If I were working your car, I'd throw some Danase Wet Glaze on it.
