Default My new CME.

Here is the whole reason I bought a Camaro in the first place. I first saw this on a Camaro in 2001 and nearly pissed myself when I found out about it. I promised my friend that one day I would have a Camaro with a CME kit on it and here it is.

One question; would you paint this to match or leave it black? I could go either way on it but can tolerate it for the time. What are your thoughts?

This is the only instance where the flat black berger panel makes sense. I have never liked it on any car until yours OP. Nice job!

Wow...Thanks guys.

The color is a factory GM color on the Tahoe, Avalanche, Grand Prix etc. called Bermuda Blue Metallic.

Originally I was all for blending it into the bumper but after seeing a few done that way I think it makes the bumper look too much like a marshmallow.

Looks good black, i ended up painting mine satin black to match my berger panel even though i was going to paint it white to match the car! I don't think you should blend it, i might be the only one that feels that way but for some reason i don't like it when its blended at all!! Just my thoughts though!! One suggestion, your third brake light would look good black to match the rest!!

I would definitely have it painted.

I would ditch the berger panel too, simply because with a color that awesome (Bermuda Blue) you should have as much of it on the car as you can

I would normally say paint it for sure but it looks pretty good the way it is.

Pulls off the black and blue look really well...

Painted would probably make it look more classy, whilst the black gives it a more aggressive and intimidating look IMO. Kind of like how race cars have black rear diffusers, never body colored.
