I'm still in the process of installing my BLS kit, but now I also want to get HID fog lights. I saw this thread and it looks like people are having success with this kit.

This is the kit that I'm looking at for the fogs: Apexcone Raptor HID Kit 35W 880bulbs, 5000k

Will having multiple HID setups (low beam + fog lights) put a strain on my alternator? How much power do these HIDs generally need compared to regular bulbs?

your not using any extra power than your normal fogs so no it shouldnt.. you'll be fine

fogs normally are 35w..
headlights are 55w

i guess i should say there isnt really a power difference

Hey man, I actually used the DDM kit, not the raptor. Had it for over a year with no problems.

Whats the difference between the DDM kit and the Raptor kit? The Raptor kit is sold through DDM, are you sure it's not the same kit?

I dont know what the difference is, but the raptor kit is $10 cheaper.

Yea I got the DDM version in both the headlights and the fogs

Okay, I ended up ordering the Raptor kit, hopefully it'll look good with the BLS kit.
