Default Sportline people in here

I just got a new set of TT2 rims for my car (love the look and will have pix soon), but anyways, I wanna lower my car! I can get a new set of eibach sportlines for my Z28 off a TA.

1) My TT2 rims are made perfectly even with the outer fenders (kinda like the tom henry camaro on GMMC). I was wondering if when I would go over a slight bump that the tire would go up and hit the body panel or any other part above the tire? Since it it right up their.

2) Can you guys post pix of your cars with them (I did do a search and saw some, but if their's any other un-posted).

The Passenger Side Rear Tire, on my Berger rubs the wheel well lip, with the 1.5" drop Eibachs (Pro Kit I think)

So IMHO 1.5" is too low, plus there is virtually no axle travel, yes you could modify the bump stop but that makes the wheel rubbing the lip worse.

I'd do what I did on my Convertible SS and get the SLP Eibachs, and have the front spring cut by 1/2 a loop.

Just my 2 cents.

I have a 2002 LE with 18's on it. Mire tire sizes are 275/35/18 and I have sportlines with stock shocks.

They don't rub at all.

I'm as happy as a clown. IMO, get them, and never look back.

I have sportlines with 17x11s out back and i don't rub unless i hit a nasty dip at highway speeds or there's people in the back and i hit a hard bump. Other than that...disco.

What about the front's? No rubbing on the wheel lip? I do drive this everyday so...

The price I can get for the sportlines is 165, so I'm very intrested in them. But don't want to have an issue's that will mess anything up with my body panel's or tires.

I got sportlines now and let me tell you, it sits really, really low. I have to go over speed bumps on an angle. Even the slightest road imperfections can be rough. Im running 18"s with 285s on back and I do get the occasional rubbing. thats when I take a turn or off ramp faster than normal <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

you live in naperthrill, so maybe we can hook up and ill show you what its like.
