Any consideration of painting the pullies? I've considered doing the power steering, water pump, and tensioner. the others you can't really see.

Honestly I'm not even sure yet. From just setting it there and closing the lid as far as it goes without touching it looks like it might just be perfect but I just set it on there to see what it would look like and took pics lol. I have to cut out a slot on the air lid support base for the neck portion of the air lid to clear it. No real reason to do that yet because I haven't gone SD tuned and I only will when I get heads. Which is very soon!

Yessir all the polishing of the brake lines was done ON the car. It would have been much easier and probably a better result if I did them while they were off. But they look decent nonetheless. Thanks for the compliments lol.

Never really thought about painting the pulleys and I honestly probably won't. I will however photo shop it anyways to see what it looks like and then decide lol.

The only secret I can give you is I basically just grew some ***** and quit waiting around always telling myself I *WAS* going to do it. I finally looked up all the tutorials for everything and tackled it. All of it was pretty easy and I was a beginner starting it. Basically I was the type that was scared to unhook the battery without thinking it would **** something up lol, not anymore though haha.

polishing the brake lines was easy. Here are the steps and supplies I used:

Supplies: 200, 400, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000 wet/dry sandpaper, Dremel, small dremel polishing/buffer rolls, aluminum polish.

Steps:

- Begin with 200 grit sand paper (I wet sanded) and sand all the lines and every crevasse you can get too and basically after your done with 1 grit sand paper, move to the next finest.

- After wet sanding, grab your dremel with the buffer roll on it and the aluminum polish and rub a good amount on each line and go to town. I used settings of 10,000 RPM - 20,000 RPM and they came out like shown in the pictures.

You will be amazed at how much the dremel helps when you do it and you'll ask yourself why didn't you do that earlier lol because it IS really that easy.

Total time I spent on them was about 1-2 hours. Regular upkeep is required however as this is aluminum it will start to lose the fresh polished finish. But just pull out the dremel again and hit it up for 5-10 mins and its good again.
