Default 4th Gen Trans Am Ground Effects Other Than Wings West

I've got a 2000 ws6, I'm looking for ground effects OTHER than the Wings West set that's out there.

I know I've seen at least one other manufacturer before, not positive if it was TA or Firebird, but it was definately 4th Gen Pontiac side skirts that had a MUCH more intersting texture than the wings west W-type body kit.

If anyone else knows where I can at least see pictures on the web, LMK.

Thanks in advance

I have a 2000 TA. I spent forever looking for a kit other than WW. I couldn't find any that were being made. I found many kits, but none that ever went into production. I contacted the makers but never got a response or they were out of business. So, I eventually settled on the WW kit esp. when I sponser had a great deal going.

I will have mine molded/shaved to the car whenever it get repainted.

Here's everything i can think of.

1) Bird of Prey: there used to be a kit called "bird of prey" and it was ridiculously expensive. I wanna say around $3000 (does not include painting or shipping ofcourse). You will not find this kit out there so dont learn to like it. Just give up on this one trust me i tried looking for it and found nothing. For pics go to www.supercars.net and search for "bird of prey" you should see a silver cool looking trans am thats it.

2) Concept trans am shaker hood? : i dont know if this is available for purchase but thought you would still be interested. Its the pic of the white trans am attached with blue stripes.

3) (Name unknown) - pics of the yellow and purple firebirds attached.

4) Firebird GT? - pic of the silver firebird (sorry pic is not clear)

5) Finally the wingswest kit - last pic attached.
Got mine purchased, painted and installed for $1000 (sold stock side skirts for $250) not a bad deal. Just hope you dont mind driving with a large scraping deflector IF you are located hot climates. This is because the front piece blocks the plastic stock air deflector piece that lets in air to cool the radiator. I tried to do the 160 stat and 160 fan settings mod but there were times it still went over 210F in temperatures of 94F (have pictures to prove that). If you need more pics of the wingswest i've got some here http://community.webshots.com/user/2002_taws6
and here are some pics on a black transam www.projecttransam.com

Hope this helps. If theres a kit I missed let me know and Good luck!

That man3.jpg is the Wings West Kit for the FIREBIRD.. take a look at the front bumper, that's a 'bird not a T/A.

I had that kit for a firebird I owned before, it did look nice.

There are no seams in that man3.jpg on the front ground effects. I guess they used the Wings West Kit and had the kit "smoothed" into the front bumper.

I thought the Silver firebird looked good with those kind of ground effects, but I think you have to be careful. Some of the ground effects add a little too much, I think.
