Here's a pic. Again, it's maybe an 1/8 of an inch to high, and I was able to raise the fender ever so slightly in that spot after I took this pic. The fender is plastic, and should confrom nicely.

If you look, it's not the best pic, but the seem is even at the cowl and at the headlight, but in the middle, the hood is a little high. Maybe I'm just picky, but it's not a big deal and most wouldn't notice it unless I pointed it out to them.

Are those side vents functional? What happens when it rains?

side vents are functional. they vent from four holes on the underside of the hood. look at the first pic I took of the hood. there are two holes on either side of the hood toward the middle. As far as if it rains I am not totally sure... I suppose if you are worried about drainage you could drill some small holes at the lowest point toward the nose.

Honestly I plan on keeping it.. I suppose anything is for sale though.. so make me an offer. I don't even know what kind of shipping costs you could expect though. it would be coming from 60450. I'm at work otherwise I would look it up. I believe the hood is around 40-50lbs.
BTW OP sorry to

As stated previously, there are two versions of the WS9 Hood. VFN makes the "Outlaw" WS9 which is taller. and yes all the hoods posted here so far have been by either VFN or U.S. Exotics (The original WS9 hood creator)

There is another WS9 style hood that is not as tall and appears to be just a WS6 hood with heat extractors and sits at the same height as a WS6 hood. I believe that hood is made by Trufiber. do a search and you can find both kinds

If I EVER switch out my stock WS6 hood the VFN WS9 outlaw would be the only route I'd go. I love the stock hood, just wish it was as tall as the outlaw hood.

Anyways. the hood was near a month late,so it's was about 9 1/2 to 10 weeks for the hood to get here. The body shop called last wed and said your hood is done and painted....WHAT? I tracked it the night before and it said it was in tennesee and now it's painted. I didn't even get to see it before it was painted and I had it put on today. The hood looks great, shiny as hell but, needs adjusting alot to get it looking good. Also, when i got into the driver seat i hate how tall it is. YES I HATE HOW TALL IT IS! I didn't know it was just over 6'' tall and for me,it could of been just a lil shorter for a street car. over all if to do again i would not and would keep the stocker. but,i will keep it and see if it grows on me for now. If not, then i sell it and move on. I took some pics,i see there are some already on here, but i'll post anyway. I don't know how to post pics,so beare with me while i try this. Thanks, mike.
Also, the ramair box does not line up with my factory ramair box. it's off by an inch or so.
