Default Semi Whistler Lights on Ebay

I found these on ebay while I was searching. It appears that the semi whistler lights are available once again. In the description it is labeled as

Design: BLACK HOUSING

I would say to contact the seller first to verify that they are indeed black.

This is for those who prefer to purchase them rather than doing them themselves.

don't see why/how they would suck... all they are is regular headlights with the face painted black, nothing special.

theres always a chance of fitment issues when buying aftermarket, especially depending on what your car has been through, but other than that i don't see what the big concern is, there just lights.

they'll look just like...

I had a set of those on my old 1999 Z28. Hopefully these are from a different vendor though. I bought these ebay headlights to replace the stock ones because they hazed over. The ebay headlights did the same thing in less than a year, man I was pissed.

You could always put some lain-x or x-pel material on the lights to keep them from hazing.

Pretty sure nothing is going to keep them from hazing if you park the car outside. The sun's UV rays damage the plastic, causing it actually form tiny microcracks that form the haze. A good quality plastic will have some UV inhibitors baked in to keep this from happening. The OEM ones in my old car went 8 years of being parked outside before they failed, the cheap MADE IN CHINA ebay ones failed in less than a year.
