all their bars are the curved back as far as i have knowledge of. looks much better than the straight bar... edelbrock makes a three point bar which is supposedly better and only cost about $98

Yeah they make a straight one and a curved back one i have the curved back one. You just have to order it as a different part number. I ordered mine from rksport. It looks awesome i always get compliments.

I believe the straight one is for LT1's. Just tell them the proper year of your car.

Man, that's pretty sad when a snake owner knows more about the fbody than the owners themselves. Just kidding, but he is right. All the ones for the LS1 are bent, and straight for the LT1.

Yeah they look sweet but aren't they like twice the price of a straight one from like BMR or something??? Is that just for looks or does it work better???

It definitely doesn't work better! In fact, it flexes a little, taking away from the stiffness that you could expect from a beefy tubular. I switched to a tubular, and it feels like the front end is just a tad bit stiffer. I liked the Hotchkis, but you are right, for the price, it's mainly just for looks.

I'd say you're in the wrong hobby if you're worried about an extra $50 for a STB that looks better!
