Default What is this SS hood worth?

What would an OEM black ss hood wih 45k miles on it, a scratch across it, a couple light rock chips, and some mild swirling be worth? It's in great shape but the paint needs a little tlc.

i'd probably try to get 5-600 for local... i wouldn't even bother trying to ship

if aftermarkets cost like 7 after shippings added, you might as well try to get somewhere near there, since its an OEM hood.

you always price a little higher than what you're willing to sell it at, and then you can come down some for people interested, and they'll feel like your working with them

I bet a fortune to someone with a 3.4L Camaro -- it will be all the rage!

But seriously, put it on ebay, and then you will know.

^you seem to be more bothered that it bothers somebody else. Now THAT is what is funny -- i.e. we all must agree with you.

Lets say it can be buffed out and cleaned up 600-800 all day since its also a common color. IF it needs paint work 400 all day long.

I think I will just work with the hood I have. I was going to get a 3" SS hood, but unless I need the clearance (which I don't) 3" is just too big. So unless vfn makes a 2" SS hood, I will just polish mine and repair the scratch if needed. Thanks for the help though guys.

And I'm not sure what brought on the v6 comments, but they were irrelevant to the thread. Just sayin'

You will find the best fit with an OEM hood. $500 is a very good price for an SS hood!

The worst is people that put an SS hood and wing on Z/28's.
