Repair aluminum rim???
Does anyone know anyone who repairs aluminum rims? I have a Firebird painted 16x8 rim and the lip is bent out from getting it caught on something. I don't know if it is even repairable, but it looks like it could be to me.

Wheel Repair ? No problem ! I have been repairing wheels for almost 15 years. I am the only one in this area thats ever done it. I will have to get Tim to post some pics for you. Give me a call if you have any questions. We do all types of repair, upgrades, custom, polish and fixing to start powder coating. This just goes along w/all the other things we do.

Re: Repair aluminum rim???
I would love to see some before and after pics of wheel repair.
Any rough guesstimate on how much it would cost to repair a bent lip on an aluminum rim? I know pics of my rim would help, but I don't have any right now.

While repairing rims can be done, it will have to be straightened, and then repainted. SLP sells takeoff 16x8 wheels for $50 each. You might just be better off to buy one of those, and then have your existing tire put on it, unless the damage is really minor.

Anyone??? Someone has to be able to fix aluminum rims, and if not it seems like a pretty good business to start. People are bashing their rims all the time.

There are a few pictures in this link that show you how many rims Fisher Automotive has in for repairs at any given time. Also there are a few pics of rims that have been damaged then fixed by Vic. I will have some better pics soon of MUCH worse rims he has fixed and you can't tell.
Yes that is a 51" TV on top of the Snap-On toolbox. The entire shop is wired for surround sound. Even the paint booth!!!!!!

Forgot to mention, the pictures with the spoon on the exhaust is how the customer brought his truck in to be worked on. NOT for exhaust work either. LOL
