Default Who has the best price on a SS hood? Pics?

Swapping over to a LS1 front end and looking for a hood, any recommendations? Best price and closest looking to original as possible. Thanks and post pictures if you guys have an aftermarket SS hood.

I bought an aftermarket SS hood from a guy on Ebay, he is in Ca. DO NOT BUY this hood. I am going to use mine because if i pay shipping to send it back I will have spent $300 in shipping costs and he will refund my $199 and I will have nothing. It is not really really bad but I would not do it again. Hope this helps someone else.

Ok, Ive had a couple people ask about my hood, and I told them if they buy me a SS hood for cheaper than what Im asking, I would give the hood to them as a trade for the SS. So just curious.

The problems are: I test fitted the hood and the gap between the hood and fender on both sides is double what it is on my stock hood. Then..... where the hood meets the front bumper cover, over the headlight , the hood is supposed to bo more or less a Right angle, my hood is rounded off so it looks kind of strange. It is still in the box. I just got my new front bumper cover and I bought an SS grillto go with it. I have another post looking for info on how to paint these parts and as soon as I get that info i will be going to the paint shop. The seller I bought from is on ebay called Performance_kits. For $200 I guess you can't go wrong but I like things to look correct not half assed.

We have plenty of sponsors here that offer the SS hood and offer much better service than E bay. Thunderracing is running their Freaky Friday the 13th sale 10% off.
