the sail panel has to be the hardest part of an fbody to remove swirls.....i think i read once that its not regular paint, and not sure if its clear coated ![Huh](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/huh.gif)
how do you plan on washing it ? cuz swirls are gonna happen, even with the most precautions....

It sounds like micro-marring. GM clearcoats are one of the hardest clears out there. Because of this, people can generally hit it with a yellow/orange pad with the M105 and not have any micro-marring.
I probably didn't take that into account when working on the sail panel. Because the combo inflicted micro-marring, the clear must be a softer clear than the rest of the body (since it's a repainted sail and not GM paint).
